Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

During the third and fourth weeks of January 2013, epidemiological surveillance indicators point to an intensification of the influenza epidemic in Guadeloupe. Analysis of other epidemiological surveillance indicators does not, as of yet, suggest any particular severity associated with this epidemic.The circulating subtypes identified in early 2013 correspond to the AH1N1pdm09 virus.
