Epidemiological Situation

The flu epidemic continues to decline in Guadeloupe and Saint Barthélemy. In Guadeloupe, fifteen severe cases have been reported, five of which have resulted in death. The influenza A virus has been identified primarily in urban areas and in hospitals. In Saint Martin, epidemiological indicators of flu activity have been low since the last week of March.
