Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

Between mid-September and early January, malaria-related medical activity intensified in certain municipalities, particularly in Régina and Saint Georges. In the latter, the seasonal resurgence began in early October and is continuing. Of note is the persistence of localized outbreaks in the municipalities of Matoury, Macouria, and Roura, as well as the possible reactivation of the outbreak in Kourou (PK 6 of Degrad Saramaca).
