Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

During the month of February, activity related to influenza-like illness remained moderate. The IPG’s CNR Influenzae identified the A/H1N1pdm2009 and B viruses in tests conducted during this period. France is experiencing an exceptionally long epidemic, and the situation in the French West Indies remains epidemic. Influenza activity could therefore increase in the coming weeks.
