This trend is observed across all age groups, but trends vary by department, with notably an increase in the adjusted incidence rate in Cantal, Haute-Loire, and Allier.

  • Hospital indicators continue to decline, with an 18% decrease in new hospitalizations and a 31% decrease in new admissions to intensive care.

Monkeypox

  • 231 confirmed cases had been recorded in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes as of August 23, 2022.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

As of August 24, the region has recorded:

  • 11 imported cases of dengue;

  • 1 imported case of chikungunya.
