COVID-19
In week 48, SARS-CoV-2 transmission continues to rise in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The number of SOS Médecins calls, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations for COVID-19 are on the rise. Vaccination coverage against COVID-19 with booster doses adapted to the Omicron variants has increased by 1.9 percentage points in one week but remains low at 9.2% among those aged 60–79 and 12.3% among those aged 80 and older.
Bronchiolitis
8th epidemic week.
In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the epidemic trend for bronchiolitis is very high and appears to be stabilizing in week 48. The level of epidemiological indicators for bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age is exceptionally high, exceeding that of all seasonal epidemics since 2010 in the region.
Influenza
Transition to epidemic.
During week 48, in hospital settings, according to data from the Oscour® network, emergency department visits for all ages in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes for a diagnosis of influenza/influenza-like illness are on the rise.
