  • The regional incidence rate has risen for the sixth consecutive week: 218 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 46 (+66%)

  • The increase affects all age groups and all departments, indicating intense and widespread circulation of SARS-CoV-2 in the region

  • Emergency room visits have increased by 34%, new hospitalizations by 51%, and new admissions to critical care units by 17%

  • The Ardèche still has the highest incidence rate in France and recorded a sharp rise in new hospitalizations in week 46. The Rhône also stands out with a marked increase in its incidence rate and hospitalization rate in week 46

  • COVID-19 vaccination coverage is increasing slightly: at least 1 dose (77.3%, +0.3 percentage points), full course (75.8%, +0.3 percentage points), booster dose (9.0%, +1.9 percentage points).

  • Downward trend in compliance with protective measures against SARS-CoV-2 infection in November 2021
