Key Points

• During the 2022 season, 41 cases imported from the intertropical zone were reported in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. These reports led to 50 entomological investigations near locations frequented by patients and the implementation of 14 adulticide treatments (destruction of adult mosquitoes).

• While no indigenous cases of arboviral diseases were identified in the region in 2022, the increase in indigenous cases in PACA, Occitanie, and Corsica prompts us to exercise the utmost vigilance for 2023.
