A new approach to nutrition education for young children: the "culinary journey."
Interview with F. Baudier of the CDES in Doubs, to provide details on the approach chosen for educating young children, with a view to extending this effort at school (educational materials) and at home. The project was carried out with the support of institutional partners such as the Health and Hygiene Office of the City of Besançon, scientific partners (GREEN), and financial partners (CFES, CIDIL, Société Gervais Danone, Ministry of Research, Franche-Comté Regional Council, Europe Against Cancer, DDRASS, DRAC). It takes the form of a play designed to raise awareness, and a fun exhibition that allows visitors to discover foods through information as well as through sensory experiences. The brochures provide information for the whole family. The educational kit is designed to facilitate the development of school projects. The exhibition will tour France throughout 1991.
