Santé publique France is organizing the "Public Health Conference" at the Centre Universitaire des Saints-Pères in Paris from May 29 to 31, 2018. These three days of conferences, workshops, and sessions are designed to facilitate the sharing of experiences in health surveillance, prevention, and intervention.Santé publique France invites all professionals involved in the health, social services, and education sectors (public health practitioners, institutional representatives, scientists, associations, and volunteers) to attend. The topics covered during these three days of discussion and learning will be rich and varied.Some examples of topics covered during the sessions include: perinatal care and early childhood, diabetes prevention and management, antibiotic resistance, health inequalities between men and women, the impact of climate change, health and occupational exposures in the agricultural sector, and the role of general practitioners in prevention and health promotion. Workshops will focus on communication and the reporting of public health indicators.Representatives from Santé publique France and external speakers, both French and international, are invited to address current issues and demonstrate how their expertise is applied to public policy.
