In week 38 (W38), the rate of confirmed cases in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté continued to rise, increasing from 37 per 100,000 inhabitants in W37 to 42 in W38. The percentage of cases involving suspected COVID-19 among SOS Médecins associations continues to rise (7.15% vs. 6.98% in W-1). The number of emergency department visits is increasing slightly but remains low (1.20% vs. 0.98% in W-1). The proportion of hospitalizations following an emergency department visit is decreasing (29.9% vs. 35.8% in W-1) and primarily involves those aged 65 and older (85.5%).
