COVID-19
Slight improvement in the regional COVID-19 epidemiological situation: decrease in the incidence rate (IR) and positivity rate (PR), accompanied by a decrease in the testing rate. The regional IR fell from 1,779.2 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 13 to 1,638.3 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 14. The IRs for the four departments remain above 1,500 per 100,000 inhabitants: a decrease of 194 points in Côtes d’Armor, 154 points in Finistère, 182 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and 24 points in Morbihan. Increase in general care hospitalizations, critical care admissions, and emergency room visits, with a stabilization in the use of SOS Médecins. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 84.5% for one dose and 83.7% for a full course.
Bronchiolitis
Non-epidemic activity.
Acute gastroenteritis
High activity. Slight increase in emergency department activity, primarily affecting children under 5 years of age.
Influenza and influenza-like illness
Epidemic activity. Decrease in calls to SOS Médecins and visits to emergency departments; the epidemic peak appears to have passed at the regional level.
