COVID-19

Sharp increase in the Covid-19 incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests. The regional IR rose from 140.9 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 46 to 213.8 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 47. The IRs are above 200 per 100,000 inhabitants in Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan and above 150 per 100,000 inhabitants in Finistère and Côtes d’Armor: +66 points in the Côtes d’Armor, +31 points in Finistère, +100 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +90 points in Morbihan. This week, 49 EPCIs are seeing a rise in incidence. 48 EPCIs have an incidence rate (IR) above 100 per 100,000 inhabitants, including 5 with an IR above 300 per 100,000 inhabitants. Key areas of concern include these 5 EPCIs, people under 50 across the entire region, and viral circulation in large cities or EPCIs (Rennes, Vitré, Saint-Malo, Vannes, Lorient, Quimperlé, Dinan, etc.). Vaccination coverage stands at 83.3% for a single dose and 82.3% for a full course.

Epidemic activity, rising phase. Sharp increases in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.

Influenza

Low indicators both clinically and virologically.

Gastroenteritis

Activity is increasing among children under 5 years of age, while remaining stable and low for other age groups.
