Bronchiolitis
Epidemic activity, epidemic plateau; trend to be confirmed or not in the coming weeks.
Influenza
Activity remains low, with a moderate increase reported by SOS Médecins. An upward trend in the detection of influenza A virus according to virology data from the University Hospitals of Rennes and Brest.
Gastroenteritis
High activity. Increase in consultations at SOS Médecins.
COVID-19
Stabilization of the Covid-19 incidence rate (IR) calculated from PCR and antigen tests. The regional IR rose from 296 per 100,000 inhabitants in week 48 to 300 per 100,000 inhabitants in week 49. IRs are above 300 per 100,000 inhabitants in Morbihan and Ille-et-Vilaine and above 200 per 100,000 inhabitants in Finistère and Côtes d’Armor: +20 points in Côtes d’Armor, -10 points in Finistère, +6 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +5 points in Morbihan. This week, 59 of the 60 EPCIs have an IT exceeding 100 per 100,000 inhabitants, of which 26 have an IT exceeding 300 per 100,000 inhabitants. Key areas of concern include the 8 EPCIs with an incidence rate exceeding 400 per 100,000 inhabitants, individuals under 50 years of age (excluding those aged 15–24) across the entire region, Ille-et-Vilaine, Morbihan, and large cities or EPCIs (Redon, Lorient, Quimperlé, Dinan, Loudéac, …). Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 82.2% for a single dose and 81.2% for a full course.
