Health Monitoring in Brittany. Update as of January 15, 2021.

Key Points

COVID-19

In Week 01, the incidence rate rose to 85.8 per 100,000 inhabitants, with the positivity rate increasing to 3.7%. This increase was observed across all four departments but was most pronounced in Ille-et-Vilaine. In this department, the increase affects all age groups, whereas in the rest of the country it is concentrated among adolescents and young adults. These unfavorable trends, particularly in Ille-et-Vilaine, must be monitored but should already prompt even stricter adherence to preventive measures.

Winter epidemics: influenza, gastroenteritis, bronchiolitis

Low activity, outside the epidemic phase.
