Key Points

COVID-19

Continued improvement in the regional COVID-19 epidemiological situation: decrease in the incidence rate (IR) and testing rate, accompanied by a decline in the positivity rate (PR). The regional IR fell from 885.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 7 to 716.2 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 8. The IR in the four departments is below 900 per 100,000 inhabitants: -165 points in Côtes d’Armor, -190 points in Finistère, -168 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and -152 points in Morbihan. Decrease in general care hospitalizations, critical care hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and calls to SOS Médecins. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence reached 84.4% for one dose and 83.5% for a full course.

Bronchiolitis

Non-epidemic activity. Overall stability of indicators.

Influenza

Pre-epidemic activity. Increase in indicators, particularly in the eastern part of the region.

Gastroenteritis

High activity. High activity among children according to hospital emergency department data.
