COVID-19
Decrease in the incidence rate, positivity rate, and testing rate. The regional incidence rate (gross) fell from 825.7 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 16 to 614.7 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 17. Decrease in incidence rates across all four departments: -244 points in Côtes d’Armor, -239 points in Finistère, -210 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and -153 points in Morbihan. Decrease in general care hospitalizations, critical care hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and calls to SOS Médecins. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 84.5% for a single dose and 83.7% for a full course.
Acute gastroenteritis
Moderate activity. Stabilization of indicators across all age groups, and continued decline in activity among children under 5 in hospital emergency departments.
Influenza and influenza-like illness
Post-epidemic activity, declining phase. Continued decline in visits to SOS Médecins and emergency departments and in viral circulation, according to data from the virology laboratories at the Rennes and Brest university hospitals.
