COVID-19

Another increase in the Covid-19 incidence rate (IR), calculated based on PCR and antigen tests, amid the discontinuation of reimbursement for certain tests. The regional IR rose from 43.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 42 to 53.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 43. The IRs are above 50 per 100,000 inhabitants in Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan: -2 points in Côtes d’Armor, +3 points in Finistère, +20 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +14 points in Morbihan. The epidemiological situation is deteriorating in the region, with a corresponding rise in hospitalizations. Attention remains focused on the high incidence rates in the Roi Morvan and Liffré-Cormier communities, among those over 35 in Ille-et-Vilaine, and among those over 65 in the region (excluding Finistère). Vaccination coverage stands at 82.6% for a single dose and 81.5% for a full course.

Epidemic activity, rising phase. Increase in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.

Flu

No epidemic. Low activity.

Gastroenteritis

Regional trend on the rise. Moderate activity. Stabilization in the number of emergency room visits and an increase in the number of SOS Médecins consultations (among children under 5 and adults aged 15–74).
