COVID-19
Slight increase in the incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests. The regional IR rose from 27.3 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 39 to 28.4 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 40. IRs are below 50 per 100,000 inhabitants: -5 points in Côtes d’Armor, +4 points in Finistère, +8 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and -7 points in Morbihan. The epidemiological situation is stabilizing in the region. Attention remains focused on the communities of municipalities of Saint-Méen Montauban and Chateaugiron (all ages combined) and those aged 65 and older in Ille-et-Vilaine. Vaccination coverage stands at 82.0% for a single dose and 80.6% for a full course.
Bronchiolitis
Regional trend on the rise, pre-epidemic activity, ascending phase. Increase in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations. Increase in RSV detections in respiratory samples analyzed by the Rennes University Hospital and the Brest University Hospital.
Gastroenteritis
Regional trend on the rise, low activity, increase in SOS Médecin indicators and decrease in emergency department indicators.
Asthma
High activity among children under 15 as school starts. Another increase in the number of SOS Médecins consultations and emergency room visits compared to the previous week.
