Another increase in the incidence rate (IR) calculated from PCR and antigen tests, amid the discontinuation of reimbursement for certain tests. The regional IR rose from 33.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 41 to 43.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 42. IRs are below 50 per 100,000 inhabitants except in Ille-et-Vilaine: +16 points in Côtes d’Armor, +6 points in Finistère, +6 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +15 points in Morbihan. The epidemiological situation is deteriorating in the region. Attention remains focused on the high incidence rates in the Roi Morvan, La Roche aux Fées, and Brocéliande communities of care among those aged 65 and older in Ille-et-Vilaine and the Côtes d’Armor, and to a lesser extent in the other two departments.
