COVID-19

The IR is rising in all four departments. Increase in the prevalence of general care hospitalizations, critical care hospitalizations, visits to hospital emergency departments, and calls to SOS Médecins.

Bronchiolitis

• Increase in monitored indicators, particularly in the eastern part of the region. The Virology Laboratory at Rennes University Hospital reports a sharp rise in RSV detections in analyzed respiratory specimens.

Asthma

• Stabilization in emergency room visits and a slight decrease in SOS Médecins consultations; indicators are close to the values typically observed during the back-to-school period.

Acute gastroenteritis

• Low activity. Emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations have stabilized compared to the previous week.

Monkeypox

• As of October 4, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., 40 confirmed cases had been reported in the Brittany region.
