COVID-19
Decline in viral circulation. This trend is evident in virological surveillance indicators (incidence, positivity, and testing rates), which are decreasing across all age groups and departments, except among those under 15, where the positivity rate remains stable.
The BA.2 sublineage became the dominant strain in S09. It accounts for 99.7% of interpretable sequences from the Flash S15 survey.
Decrease in emergency department visits for suspected COVID-19.
Decrease in new hospitalizations and new admissions to critical care.
Decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases in ESMS.
Influenza and influenza-like illness
7th week of the epidemic phase. In week 16, activity related to influenza-like illnesses was declining in hospital emergency departments.
Acute gastroenteritis
Decreasing activity levels. In week 16, activity related to gastroenteritis was slightly down in hospital emergency departments.
