SARS-CoV-2 continues to circulate at very high levels amid an increase in the prevalence of more transmissible variants.
Stabilization in the number of new confirmed cases.
The number of people hospitalized and admitted to intensive care remains very high.
Emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants: For the Centre-Val de Loire region, 35 cases of the UK variant have been confirmed: 14 in Eure-et-Loir, 10 in Loiret, 10 in Indre-et-Loire, and 1 in Indre. This count does not include any secondary or even tertiary cases identified during investigations that have not been sequenced.
Bronchiolitis
In week 04, bronchiolitis-related activity was stable at SOS Médecins and on the rise in hospital emergency departments.
Gastroenteritis
In week 04, activity related to gastroenteritis was decreasing at SOS Médecins and stable in hospital emergency departments.
