Public Health Surveillance in the Centre Region. Epidemiological Update on Notifiable Diseases No. 1.
Since April 2011, the InVS has implemented an application that allows Cire offices to access real-time data on mandatory reports from their region for these five notifiable diseases. The Cire has developed automated analysis procedures to conduct regional epidemiological assessments, particularly for monitoring outbreaks such as the hepatitis A epidemic that occurred in the region from June 2011 to April 2012.In addition, this year we are launching a biannual thematic epidemiological report on these five MDOs; here is the first issue, covering the first half of 2012. These epidemiological reports are based on data that has not yet been consolidated, and minor variations may be noted compared to the detailed analyses we produce separately using databases that are verified and corrected annually.
