In the Grand Est region, the number of new cases rose in week 47 of 2021 (17,234 compared to 11,239 in week 46 of 2021), as did the number of people tested (317,705 in week 47 of 2021 compared to 233,581 in week 46 of 2021). The incidence rate has risen to 312.7 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants, well above the threshold for active virus circulation (set at 50 per 100,000 inhabitants). The positivity rate is also on the rise (5.4% compared to 4.8% in week 46 of 2021).
