Acute Respiratory Infections (Flu, Bronchiolitis, COVID-19) in French Guiana. Bulletin dated July 4, 2024.

Key Points

The rise in epidemiological indicators for acute respiratory infections (ARI) has continued over the past two weeks. This increase is attributed to the circulation of influenza A and SARS-CoV-2. Indeed, virological surveillance based on samples from the network of sentinel general practitioners, hospital and private laboratories, and the CNR for Respiratory Viruses in French Guiana continues to detect influenza and SARS-CoV-2 at significant levels.
