In week 30 (July 25–31), virological indicators were declining, resulting in an incidence rate of 190 cases per 100,000 population (-41%). This decline is observed across all sectors of the region.
Monitoring of screening data in week 30 shows a stabilization of variants carrying a mutation at position L452 (C1), which account for 89% of screened samples. Sequencing data indicate that the majority of these are BA.5 sublineages of Omicron.
Hospital indicators are also improving. New admissions across all departments are declining. One ICU admission was reported in week 30, and two in-hospital deaths were recorded.
