Since the start of the epidemic observed in February (S2012-05), the weekly number of visits for flu-like illness has continued to rise. The positivity rate of samples collected in private practice or in hospitals has also increased over the past two months.

The trend in overall activity observed over the past few weeks indicates that the epidemic is continuing actively and throughout the country.

The influenza viruses A/H1N1pdm2009 and seasonal A/H3 are still co-circulating.
