Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

Malaria activity has been low since mid-April 2016. The municipalities with the highest number of malaria cases and infections during this period are Maripa-Soula and St. Georges de l'Oyapock. However, it should be noted that malaria transmission continues in Trois-Sauts and St. Georges. The malaria risk map has not yet been validated by the expert committee and will therefore be released at a later date.
