Epidemiological Situation of Malaria in French Guiana. Update as of November 19, 2018.
Epidemiological Situation
During the first two weeks of November (S2018-44 and 45), malaria activity in the region was high and on the rise. This situation is primarily due to the onset of the seasonal resurgence in St. Georges de l'Oyapock, a localized transmission cluster in the municipality of Régina, and an increase in malaria activity in the Upper Maroni region.
