Dengue

  • For the past five weeks, dengue transmission levels in French Guiana have been stable and close to those observed before the epidemic.

Malaria

  • The number of malaria cases diagnosed in the healthcare system remained low over the past two weeks, with a total of 4 cases reported, including 2 in S31 and S32, respectively. These 4 cases were caused by P. vivax, and 3 of them were relapses.

Acute respiratory infections (bronchiolitis, COVID-19, influenza)

  • The decline in the circulation of ARIs observed in community practice and in coastal hospitals continues.

Diarrhea

  • Activity remains stable at a high level in community practice, moderate and stable in emergency departments, and is decreasing in primary care centers and local hospitals.
