Epidemiological Situation
Flu-like IllnessesIn Saint Martin, the increase in the number of patient visits at one of the sentinel general practitioners continues. In Saint Barthélemy, the onset of an epidemic has not been confirmed. The situation remains under observation on both islands.
GastroenteritisIn Saint Martin, the outbreak continues at a moderate level, slightly above the maximum values expected for the season. In Saint Barthélemy, after a three-week lull (early December), the outbreak has resumed an upward trend since the end-of-year holidays.
Bronchiolitis: In Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy, the outbreak appears to be slowing down.
Chickenpox: The epidemiological situation is calm in Saint Martin; a resurgence of chickenpox should be monitored in Saint Barthélemy.
