Reports on the rise in Hauts-de-France:
2023: 92 probable or confirmed cases of dengue.
2024: 125 probable/confirmed cases of dengue and 1 probable/confirmed case of chikungunya.
All cases were imported.
Mostly originating from the Caribbean.
The departments of Aisne (since the 2018 season) and Oise (since the 2024 season) are considered to have low populations of the tiger mosquito.
For both seasons, nearly half of the cases are residents of the Nord department.
