  • In urban areas, a slight increase in activity in the St. Quentin sector (SOS Médecins) and an increase in the number of cases requiring intensive care (Sentinel Network)

  • In hospitals, a slight increase in hospitalizations following visits to the emergency room

  • Increased detection of the BA.5 sublineage, while BA.2 remains the dominant strain

All-cause mortality across all age groups

  • In S23, subject to data consolidation, mortality was decreasing; no significant excess mortality at the regional level.
