Key Points

Acute respiratory infections

  • Moderate and declining activity in emergency departments and stable in primary care (all ages).

Flu and flu-like illnesses

  • Decreased activity across all age groups in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins for the sixth consecutive week;

  • Decrease in hospitalizations following visits to the emergency department, all ages;

  • Stabilization of the influenza virus positivity rate at the University Hospitals of Lille and Amiens;

  • Mortality rate attributable to influenza via electronic certification slightly increased.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Moderate activity, increasing in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins, mainly among children under 5;

  • Increase in incidence across all age groups, as estimated by the Sentinelles network.
