Bronchiolitis SurveillanceIn mainland France, indicators from emergency departments and SOS Médecins continue to rise in most French regions.In Nord-Pas-de-Calais, the regional alert threshold has been exceeded for the 7th consecutive week, and hospital and outpatient indicators continue to rise. In Picardy, the regional alert threshold has been exceeded for the 2nd consecutive week; the epidemic has begun in the region.
Surveillance of influenza-like illnesses In mainland France, influenza activity remains low in all regions, but has increased slightly compared to the previous week. In Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardy, all hospital and outpatient indicators remain at a stable and low level.
Surveillance of severe influenza cases in intensive care In mainland France, 4 severe influenza cases have been reported since week 45, involving influenza A and B viruses, one of whom has died. In Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardy, no new severe influenza cases have been reported.
Surveillance of acute gastroenteritis In mainland France, as well as in Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardy, activity related to acute gastroenteritis remains low.
