This resource guide was finalized during the 2005 Prevention Days, organized by the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education (INPES). It was initiated as part of INPES’s ongoing reflection on evaluation within its field of expertise. It brings together definitions and methodological articles that provide a better understanding of the role of evaluation and offers methodological and practical guidance for implementing evaluation in the field of health promotion and education. Each section begins with an explanation of the rationale behind the selection of the 31 articles included.
