The regional incidence rate stood at 531 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and declined for the second time after six consecutive weeks of increases. The testing rate followed the same trend.
The positivity rate (20.8%) showed a decline and fell for the second time after seven consecutive weeks of increases.
The BA.4 and BA.5 sublineages of the Omicron variant have been predominant in Île-de-France for the past 6 weeks.
Use of primary care and emergency services for “suspected COVID-19” was decreasing.
The number of new hospitalizations, as well as the number of new admissions to intensive care and COVID-19-related hospital deaths, were decreasing.
The number of new COVID-19 cases reported by healthcare facilities, as well as the total number of new reported cases, remained stable.
