Since the start of enhanced surveillance in the region, 84 cases of arboviral diseases—72 confirmed cases and 12 probable cases—have been identified in Île-de-France, including 83 cases of dengue and 1 case of chikungunya, all of which were imported.
The cases were imported from the Caribbean (45), Latin America (14), Asia (13), and sub-Saharan Africa (12). Among the cases, 78 (93%) were potentially viremic in Île-de-France, and 35 (41.7%) resided in municipalities in the region colonized by the “tiger mosquito” (Aedes albopictus).
High temperatures, heat wave
The Île-de-France region was at green alert level in S30: iCanicule indicators were decreasing compared to S29.
