Summary

In Week 03, the following was observed in the Île-de-France region:

• A continuing flu epidemic amid the co-circulation of the A(H1N1)pdm09, A(H3N2), and B viruses,

• specific surveillance regarding a mercaptan leak from the Lubrizol plant in Rouen was implemented at the national and regional levels,

• no massive influx of trauma patients to emergency departments following the severe weather that occurred in the region over the weekend
