COVID-19

In Week 32 (W32), all indicators were on the rise for the second consecutive week but remained at low levels. Indicators of emergency care use for suspected COVID-19 were increasing:

  • The number of SOS Médecins calls was 50 in W32 (vs. 29 in W31) and accounted for 1.1% of total activity.

  • The number of hospital emergency room visits was 64 (vs. 39 in W31, +64%). This increase applies to all age groups but is more pronounced among those aged 65 and older. The rate of hospitalizations following emergency room visits remains low (0.57 vs. 0.31 in W31).
