Health Surveillance of Acute Gastroenteritis in Normandy. Update as of March 30, 2017.

Key Points

Monitoring of regional indicators related to acute gastroenteritis (AGE) indicates a decline in activity in Normandy since the regional epidemic peak, which occurred in week 2017-01 in primary care and week 2017-05 in emergency departments, respectively. These trends are comparable to those observed over the past three winter seasons. This pattern is also being observed at the national level by Santé publique France and the Sentinelles network. Activity is expected to continue declining in the coming weeks.
