Key Points

Influenza and Influenza-Like Illness

  • The AGE epidemic continues among children under 15, with activity remaining high both in the community and in hospitals. Community activity among those aged 15–64 is moderate; it is close to baseline levels among those aged 65 and older and in hospitals for both age groups.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • The flu epidemic has ended in Normandy and lasted 18 weeks, peaking in late December in emergency departments and in late January in community practice. All Oscour® and SOS Médecins activity indicators have returned to pre-epidemic levels.

  • The mortality rate, with influenza listed among electronically certified deaths, remains stable at a moderate level.
