Health Surveillance of Winter Outbreaks in Normandy. Update as of March 2, 2017.

Key Points

Activity related to bronchiolitis in infants continued to decline, as observed at the national level; however, Normandy remained in the post-epidemic phase in week 2017-08. As a reminder, the regional peak was reached in week 2016-52. Activity related to acute gastroenteritis remained stable in week 2017-08 compared to the previous two weeks and was at levels equivalent to those observed during the same period in the two previous seasons.Following a significant and rapid decline in all regional indicators related to seasonal influenza, Normandy has now emerged from the post-epidemic phase in week 2017-08. The regional peak was reached in week 2017-04.
