Hepatitis A Surveillance in Normandy. Epidemiological Update as of December 31, 2017.

Summary

From January 1 to December 31, 2017, 127 cases of acute hepatitis A were reported as required (DO) in Normandy: 11 children, 19 women, and 97 men, the majority of whom (65%) resided in Seine-Maritime. The number of reports received this year was 10 times higher than in 2016. Since November 2017, the number of reported cases has been declining in the region but has not returned to 2016 levels.
