Hepatitis A Surveillance in Normandy. Epidemiological Update as of September 30, 2017.

Summary

From January 1 to September 30, 2017, 79 cases of acute hepatitis A were reported as required by law (DO): 7 children, 14 women, and 58 men. The number of cases observed this year is nine times higher than in 2016 during the same period (8 cases). The number of cases reported since June–July continued to rise, indicating ongoing circulation of HAV in the region.
