Influenza Surveillance in Normandy. Update as of March 24, 2016.
Key Points
Monitoring of regional indicators for week 2016-11 shows that the seasonal epidemic is continuing in Normandy. Activity related to seasonal influenza continued to rise in primary care and hospital settings, but was beginning to stabilize, suggesting that the epidemic peak will be reached in the coming days. Influenza B remained the predominant strain. Nationally, all influenza-related epidemiological indicators continued to rise, and the epidemic peak had not yet been reached. The epidemic persisted in all regions of mainland France except Corsica.
