During the 2013–2014 school year, the SentEcole network, coordinated by the regional InVS unit (Cire), consisted of 13 volunteer sentinel elementary schools (3,106 students) spread across 11 school districts in Gironde. The data submitted by participating schools via the Ecolia application of the Gironde Departmental Directorate of National Education (DSDEN) were analyzed and monitored daily by the Cire.
