Emergency department visits by vulnerable populations: According to available data, emergency department activity for people aged 75 and older and those under 1 year of age is in line with expectations.
Reportable Diseases (MDO)No unusual situation this week.
Acute Gastroenteritis (AG)In Aquitaine, activity is sustained and close to the epidemic threshold for SOS Médecins consultations but moderate and declining for emergency department visits. Nationally, activity is moderate to high but trending downward.
Asthma and AllergiesIn Aquitaine, emergency department visits are stable for asthma and rising sharply for allergies according to SOS Médecins; the forecast indicates a moderate to high risk of pollen-related allergies (birch and plane tree pollen) for all departments in the region. Nationally, the allergy indicator is also rising according to SOS Médecins.
Respiratory virology and enterovirus meningitis: Circulation of influenza viruses has stabilized, according to the Bordeaux University Hospital. Only 3 samples tested positive for influenza B, and 46% of positive samples were for rhinovirus.
