Since the project launched on January 23, 2012, nearly 1,700 people have registered with GrippeNet.fr. The highest participation rate is in Southern Corsica (12.7 participants per 100,000). Half of the participants had no symptoms. Trends in indicators for Week 06 (February 6–12, 2012)

  • Bronchiolitis: Declining. Declining for SOS Médecins and stable in emergency departments. Declining activity in the AquiRespi network

  • Gastroenteritis: moderate activity

  • Influenza: activity rising sharply

  • Activity in private practice and hospital emergency departments: Increasing for SOS Médecins. Emergency room visits by people aged 75 and older are on the rise.
